Vocal Studio

Susan Gonzalez is a vocal technician with an emphasis in skills for classical music and musical theater, teaching both men and women’s voices with equal success. At Hunter College, she teaches such courses as: Diction for singers, Ornamentation in the Common Practice Period, Voice Class and Vocal Pedagogy for majors. Her technique and training come from a long lineage of vocal pedagogues tracing back to Sidney Dietch, Andrew White, and Richard Hughes. Her mission as a teacher is to continue the tradition of legato singing through a bel canto technique.
